The Royal Oak, in Hooe, is a village pub and is proud to be just that, a real pub. We are located beside the beautiful Hooe Lake and boast a spacious beer garden with outdoor seating, to enjoy the picturesque location.
The Royal Oak is run by brother and sister team, Lee Chambers (Landlord) and Clare Chambers (Manager). Both of whom have been permanent fixtures at The Fisherman's Arms since it's opening in December 2014.
The Royal Oak opened on 8th February 2020 as a sister pub to The Fisherman's Arms. We aim to run both pubs in the same style. Offering great service, food, drinks and friendship to all who visit. We welcome dogs, we even offer meals on the menu, for our canine visitors and have our own resident dog (at The Fisherman's) - Mr Jones. Mr Jones is a Miniature Schnauzer, he welcomes guests frequently and even has his own facebook page, he would particularly like to share any pictures of your dog in The Royal Oak.
Thank you for your interest and we look forward to welcoming you to The Royal Oak in Hooe.
